Annual Trophy distribution

The Trophy Distribution Ceremony is one of the most important events in the school calendar. The atmosphere in Delhi School of Excellence, Banjara Hills was filled with excitement and joy during the The Annual Trophy Distribution Ceremony UDAAN on 20th January, 2023. The program commenced with the melodious rendition of the school song by the choir followed by the welcoming of the Chief Guest Prof Sri Nagesh and the dignitaries Chairperson Ms Shilpa Ravi, Ms Rama Devi Secretary DSE Group of Institutions, Administrator DSE Attapur. Ms Reshmi, Ms Shashikala Academic Director DSE Group of Institutions, Principal Ms Veena Murthy, Headmistress Ms Anasuya, Coordinators Ms Rimpa and Ms Kavitha. The much anticipated felicitations of the school toppers were a testament to the appreciation of the success in the CBSE board examinations for the academic year 2022. Sri P Madhusudhan Rao Memorial Award, besides an appreciation certificate and cash prize were awarded to the school toppers and subject toppers P Neharika, Shristi Sehgal, Shoaib Sadiq, G. Sai Praneel Reddy, Abdul Muqeet Mohammed, Ayesha Ali Mohammad, and Sriramya Kadiyala. The Leadership Certificates for the Student Council members were given away by the Chief Guest. The students of Visual and Performing Arts of the Grades V – VIII took part in the myriad programs. The beautifully choreographed Invocation Dance which was a fusion of Indian Classical Dance and Western Contemporary Dance enthralled everyone. This was followed by the conferring of the Leadership Certificates to the Student Council members by the Chief Guest. Naisha Bajaj and G Geethinka who excelled in various sports events at the national level were awarded certificates of appreciation, cash prize and fee concessions. All the felicitations evoked thunderous applause from everyone. The moving tribute to the beloved late Chairman Sri Madhusudhan Rao Garu made everyone reminisce about his immense dedication and contribution in the field of education. Also the touching tribute to the late IT Head Ms Padmavathi brought an emotional moment in the ceremony. In her memory MVS PADMAVATHI ENDOWMENT AWARD was bestowed on Sameeha Yasmin for excellence in the field of Information Technology. The appreciation certificates for the best outgoing students Sameeha Yasmin for Best Orator, Harshavardhan for Best Sports Achiever, K Sesha Sai for Best Outgoing Student were given away. The students performed a ballad – Tale of the Custard the Dragon which showcased true heroism in a moment of crisis. The excellent recitation of poems ‘Don’t Quit’ and ‘Success’ were apt for the occasion, considering the attitude of perseverance by the high achievers. The songs ‘Count on me’ and ‘The Best Day of my Life’ were melodiously sung by the students. The Chief Guest Prof Sri Nagesh in his address exhorted the students to have passion in everything they aspire to achieve, apart from having fun. Headmistress Ms Anasuya appreciated the achievers. The Head Girl Sameeha Yasmin and Head Boy Sri Vishnu Abhiraj in their farewell speeches profusely thanked the school, Principal, Headmistress, teachers and all the fellow Student Council members. The trophies for the Best House in the category of Co-Curricular Activities prize was bagged by the Spartans House, The Best house in the category of Sports was bagged by the Trojans House and the Overall Trophy for the session 2022-23 was bagged by the jubilant Spartans House. CCA Coordinators Ms. Lateef and Ms Priyanka, Sports Coordinators Mr Vijender and Mr Naidu, Event’s Team comprising Ms. Samyuktha and Ms Rina were felicitated. The Grand Finale Dance performance was absolutely outstanding. The ceremony ended with the Vote of Thanks by the Cultural Secretary Aisha Kazi and Deputy Cultural Secretary Anvita Grace.
