Naisha Bajaj of Grade X from Delhi School of Excellence, Banjara Hills showed grit, determination and spirit in bagging the first place in the 2nd Open Indian International Kickboxing Tournament held in Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi. She achieved this marvellous position in the Kicklight Category (69 kg category) by defeating the player from Jordan. The second runner up was from South Korea. In the Light Contact Category (69 kg category), she won the second position. It was indeed a proud moment for the school when she accomplished this stupendous achievement. She was ably trained by her coach Master Suresh Patil from Iskimos Kickboxing Academy. Her training schedule included sparring, weight training, circuit training and cardio kickboxing. Her strict adherence to a healthy food that included a protein diet brought her the coveted positions. DSE Banjara Hills congratulates her and wishes her the best for her future.
Delhi School of Excellence, Banjara Hills is elated and proud to announce that it has bagged the overall championship for the year 2022-23 at Impulse conducted by Meridian School, Kukatpally. The students have displayed stupendous success in various events in the competition. The students won the first position in Movie Making, Talent in a Minute (Primary and seniors), Chess, Poetry Recitation, Fancy Dress, Penmanship, Mime and Radio Jockey events. They secured the second position in Ad Mad (seniors), Poster Making, and third position in Ad Mad (juniors), Nukkad Natak and Taal Mel. It’s a testament to their handwork and preparation for the competition. The school congratulates the winners and wishes them many more successful achievements in the future.
23 students of Delhi school Of Excellence, Banjara Hills participated in Freedom Cup Yoga Championship organized by FIT India out of which 2 students won Gold, 3 children won Silver and 3 children won Bronze medals respectively. We are proud to announce that 5 of our students have qualified for the state level Yoga Championship. We wish the participants all the very best and good luck for the Nationals!!!!
