Achievement of Naisha Bajaj

Naisha Bajaj of Grade X from Delhi School of Excellence, Banjara Hills showed grit, determination and spirit in bagging the first place in the 2nd Open Indian International Kickboxing Tournament held in Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi. She achieved this marvellous position in the Kicklight Category (69 kg category) by defeating the player from Jordan. The second runner up was from South Korea. In the Light Contact Category (69 kg category), she won the second position. It was indeed a proud moment for the school when she accomplished this stupendous achievement. She was ably trained by her coach Master Suresh Patil from Iskimos Kickboxing Academy. Her training schedule included sparring, weight training, circuit training and cardio kickboxing. Her strict adherence to a healthy food that included a protein diet brought her the coveted positions. DSE Banjara Hills congratulates her and wishes her the best for her future.

Impulse

Delhi School of Excellence, Banjara Hills is elated and proud to announce that it has bagged the overall championship for the year 2022-23 at Impulse conducted by Meridian School, Kukatpally. The students have displayed stupendous success in various events in the competition. The students won the first position in Movie Making, Talent in a Minute (Primary and seniors), Chess, Poetry Recitation, Fancy Dress, Penmanship, Mime and Radio Jockey events. They secured the second position in Ad Mad (seniors), Poster Making, and third position in Ad Mad (juniors), Nukkad Natak and Taal Mel. It’s a testament to their handwork and preparation for the competition. The school congratulates the winners and wishes them many more successful achievements in the future.

Freedom Cup Yoga Championship

23 students of Delhi school Of Excellence, Banjara Hills participated in Freedom Cup Yoga Championship organized by FIT India out of which 2 students won Gold, 3 children won Silver and 3 children won Bronze medals respectively. We are proud to announce that 5 of our students have qualified for the state level Yoga Championship. We wish the participants all the very best and good luck for the Nationals!!!!

Online Poetry Recitation Competition, Rhetoric Rhapsody, was organised on by Birla Open Minds International School, for Grade 1 and 2 students. Recitation is one of the important and effective modes of learning a language. Appreciating a piece of literature gives wings to expression. The students of Delhi School of Excellence, Banjara Hills got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence by participating in this competition. Maan Nahata of Grade 2A and Anaisha Toshniwal of Grade 2C bagged the first and second prize respectively. Congratulations to the winners and participants from the whole team of DSE, Banjara Hills.

Delhi School of Excellence Banjara Hills is proud to announce that Hisham Mohammed Rahmath (representing Telangana Team) of Grade IXA won the silver medal (team event) at the 23rd Junior National Sepak Takraw Championship-2019 conducted by the Telangana Sepak Takraw Association on 11th and 12th December at GHMC Victory Playground Indoor Stadium, Chaderghat, Hyderabad, and Telangana.We congratulate Hisham Mohammed Rahmath and wish him all the best!
We are happy to share that the students of grades 6-10 have participated in the essay writing competition conducted in 3 languages i..e, Hindi, Urdu and Telugu on the occasion of the 74th birthday celebrations of Ms. Sonia Gandhi organised by National Soliditary committee at Gandhi Bhavan on 9th December, 2019.

We are proud to inform that our students gave bagged first position in all the three categories.
Students from classes III to VII participated in the SHRI UTSAV held at The Shriram Universal School on 27.11.2019, an event based on the theme ‘Acharya Devo Bhava’.Dhatri Mayanika of grade III –B was awarded the first place in the recitation competition. The debating team comprising of Sarah Shariff, VII-B,Sameeha Yasmin, VII-B and Abhinandana Pendyala, VI-C, won the second prize. Pratiksha of V-A and Saksham of IV-A won the second prize in the on the spot poster making competition.

The students of DSE Banjara hills participated in a program “Peacock-day” celebration organized by “Forest Conservation and Research Institute” to sensitize human being towards this beautiful creation and other wildlife at KBR Park Banjara hills on 3rd Dec 2019. Several schools took part in various programs. We are glad to inform that our students bagged second place in Dance and skit and quiz. The students were too excited as they enjoyed the entire competition and the snake show too.
Students of DSE Banjara Hills Participated in “IDARA- ADABIYAT–E-URDU” competition conducted by “The Siasat Daily”. We are proud to share that our students bagged remarkable positions. First place by Zainab Mubin of Grade VII, second by Amena Hasmani of Grade IX and Third by Syeda Madiha of Grade VI. Not only this 75 students also proved their excellence.Students of DSE Banjara Hills participated in “Indira Gandhi Birth Anniversary” Celebration conducted by TPCC on 19th November, 2019. The students bagged first, second and Third place in Essay writing in URDU Language.

Meridian Madhapur held their annual inter school Art and Cultural Fest last week, titled SYAHI. DSE Banjara Hills sent entries under the Mono Acting (Telugu and Hindi), Poster Making, Comic Strip and My Canvas categories.We are proud to announce that our worth youngsters won first and second place for Mono Acting (Hindi and Telugu).A consolation Prize was given for poster Making and Third prize was bagged by the students of DSE Banjara Hills for Comic Strip.Last but not the least, the second place for My Canvas was also taken be DSE Banjara Hills. JPHS held their annual inter school competitions last week, titled Ignited Minds.DSE Banjara Hills sent entries under the Story Telling: A Twist in the Tale, Recitation, English and Telugu, Historical Representation (mime) and Nukkad Natak (street play) categories.We are proud to announce that our worthy youngsters won first and second place for Story Telling: A Twist in the Tale, with their stories, Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf and Rapunzel Rapstar.The first prize for Telugu recitation and the second prize for the historical representation of Cleopatra was also won by our students.Last but not the least, the first prize for the Nukkad Natak, Yehi Hai Sahi, was also taken by DSE Banjara Hills.Congratulations to all our enthusiastic participants!!

Eshaan Chadalavada, a student of Grade 10 B, DSE, Banjara Hills, has brought laurels to our country and school by winning the Team Work Championship in World Robotic Championship held in LAU Byblos, Lebanon. This championship, which is to inspire science and technology leaders of tomorrow, was conducted over the weekend of June 14-16, 2019. School students from 46 countries participated for the FIRST LEGO League 2019, (FLL) Open International Robotics Competition, where school students get to design, build, program, and test robots, and enhance their knowledge of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).
