Rationale for Sectioning

At DSE, changing / shuffling of students is done every year. This is done to encourage them to come out of their comfort zones and learn to make new friends which is a desirable trait.

  •  While allotting sections to the students, care is taken to ensure that each section has students of different ability levels. Therefore, all sections are equal in terms of academic merits of students.
  •  While shuffling the students certain guidelines are kept in mind :

         a) Gender and House ratio is maintained as far as possible.

         b) If any undesirable friendship develops.

          c) Capacity of leadership and the competitive levels of the students.
