On July 5, 2025, Delhi School Of Excellence Banjara Hills proudly hosted the Vinyasa Inter-School Yoga Competition, which witnessed an enthusiastic turnout of around 300 students from 21 schools. The event celebrated the art of yoga and was conducted across three age categories: 8–10 years, 10–12 years, and 12–14 years.
The event was graced by our esteemed chief guest, Mr. Manohar Kumar Jala-Vice President: Yoga Federation of India, who highlighted the vital role of yoga in enhancing one’s lifestyle and inspired students to make it a part of their everyday routine. A distinguished panel of six judges meticulously assessed each performance and announced winners for all three categories.
In Category A (Girls) (8–10 years), Vullendula Vihita(DPS Nacharam) secured the First Position, followed by D Lohitha Sai Reddy (DPS Nacharam) and G. Manvitha (DSE Manikonda), Ameya Umate (DSE Attapur) in the Second and Third Positions respectively.
Category A (Boys) A Sri Vishnu Prasad (DSE Banjara Hills), D. Avinash(DSE Banjara Hills), Srithan Ankati (DSE Manikonda) won the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.
In Category B (10–12 years) Girls, Swastika Bhargava(DPS Nacharam) emerged as the winner, with Samaya Gupta(Chirec International School) and Sushmita Yalagudri(DSE Banjara Hills) taking the Second and Third Positions respectively.
Category B (Boys) Birlangi Mahith Raj (St. Michaels), K. Venkatchalam (DPS Nacharam), Amaan Al Aidroos (DSE Banjara Hills) won the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.
In Category C (12-14 years)-Girls, the Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals were awarded to Reet Kaur , Sandeepta Garai, and Moksha Krishna Gude of Delhi School of Excellence respectively. Harini Dasari of St. Michaels School also shared the Bronze Medal.
Category C (Boys) K Hardik Reddy (DPS Nacharam), Mote Neil (St. Michaels School), Krishna Tanay (Insignis Transitional School) won the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.
In addition to the top winners, ten Certificates of Merit were awarded in each category to recognize outstanding performances and exceptional talent among both boys and girls.
The competition not only showcased the participants’ dedication and skill but also promoted a spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship, making the day truly memorable.
