Annual Day Celebrations — Antar Swar: Voice of the Voiceless
Delhi School of Excellence, Banjara Hills, celebrated its Annual Day 2025 with splendour and spirited creativity at Shilpakala Vedika. centered on the theme “Antar Swar – Voice of the Voiceless,” the event highlighted empathy, inclusivity, and environmental awareness.
The programme opened with a reflection on the school’s journey since 2013, followed by a short video showcasing its growth and achievements. The school also celebrated its association with GoSharpener, receiving the Sustainability Superstar Hyderabad 2025 Award for its eco-conscious initiatives. A special segment highlighted the achievements of student ambassador Sanjana, an inspiration to fellow learners. A tribute was also paid to the school’s Founder Chairman, Late Shri P. Madhusudhan Rao, whose vision continues to guide the institution.
The Chief Guest, Ms. Geetha Bhascker Dhaassyam, CEO of India Fine Arts and Media Education, was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour. Her address on creativity and the transformative power of art deeply resonated with the audience.
One of the most awaited segments, the Felicitation Ceremony, honoured toppers of the Grade 10 AISSE examinations and subject achievers with the Sri P. Madhusudhan Rao Memorial Awards, along with the prestigious IT Endowment Award.
The cultural performances formed the heart of the evening. Beginning with a divine invocation dance, students from pre-primary to Grade 10 brought the five elements—Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Sky—to life through expressive choreography and thematic storytelling. Playful aquatic scenes, dialogues between insects and birds, depictions of endangered animals, the fury of rivers and natural disasters, and cosmic presentations filled the stage with colour and emotion. The choir’s “Symphony of Harmony” and the All Elements Song added musical richness, emphasizing the interconnectedness of life.
The Principal’s Annual Report highlighted the school’s academic progress, extracurricular excellence, and student leadership. The evening concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks and a vibrant grand finale.
