Trophy Distribution Ceremony.
19 January 2023 dawned bright as DSE Manikonda celebrated ‘Prashasthi ‘ the Annual Trophy distribution for the academic year 2022-23.
The event was presided over by the Chief Guest – Ms. Josyula K Lakshmi, a senior research fellow at the George Institute, Chairperson Ms.Shilpa Ravi, Secretary Ms. Rama Devi, Academic Director Ms.Shashikala oF DSE group of Institutions and Administrator of Attapur – Ms.Reshmi.
In honour of the memory of its Chairman Late Shri Madhusudhan Rao Garu the Management of DSE instituted the Shri P.Madhusudhan Rao Memorial awards for Academic Excellence both in the field of Academics and Sports. Thereby, the top three students to have scored overall aggregate in the Grade X Board Exams were awarded with a Memento, Certificate and cash prizes of Rs 15,000/-,Rs. 10,000/- and Rs. 5000 respectively.
In addition the subject toppers were felicitated with a memento, certificate and a cash award of Rs 3000 each.
The National Championship and International Championship awards in the field of Sports were initiated. Any student who makes a mark in any National Sports event will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs 10000 and 25% fee concession for that particular Academic session and with a cash award of Rs 25000 and 25% concession in the fee for achievement in an International Sporting Event for that particular academic session.
The Padmavathy Endowment Award for exceptional skills in Information Technology was bagged by Dakshesh H Nankani of XB with a certificate, momento and a cash prize of Rs. 7000/-
In recognition of the Student Council’s commitment to executing their duty, they were presented with Leadership certificates.
The outgoing students of Grade X for noteworthy oratory skills, sportsmanship and the category of Best Outgoing Student were given away to Hurain Rizwan of XB, Moukthika Namilakonda of XA and Sai Rishi Ventrapragada of XA respectively.
The winners along with their parents received the awards with pride. The various cultural performances, PT and Yoga displays by the students were a visual spectacle.
