World Nature Conservation Day

World Nature Conservation Day

Mahatma Gandhi said “Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs, but not every man’s greed.”

The apostle of peace Mahatma Gandhi had recognized many decades ago that we have to use natural resources judiciously and must respect nature for the continued survival of human beings.

On the occasion of World Conservation Day celebrated on 28th July every year, the students of Delhi School of Excellence, Banjara Hills performed many activities to raise awareness about the conservation of nature and stress the importance of preserving our natural resources. The students showed their creativity and enthusiasm by presenting activities such as mono acting, fancy dress show, poster making, composition of poems, and presentations in English, Hindi and Urdu to underscore the importance of saving plants and animals on earth. Also, they gave practical tips on how to save energy and highlighted the mantra of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle for a healthier planet for all forms of life on earth.
