VISMAY, a learning platform was organised for the students of grade III and IV at Delhi School of Excellence Banjara Hills. The academic fair portrayed a travel through the dynasties of India exhibiting the pride and glory of India. The annual Academic Fair at Delhi School of Excellence Banjara Hills is the culmination of student’s learning portrayed through stage dynamics. Parent partners were invited to join the fair and enjoy the performance of their children.
The teacher student synergy prevailed as the journey began by the inaugural of VISMAY by Ms. Rama Devi, Secretary DSE and Ms.Shashikala, Academic Director DSE. The Principal Ms. Veena Murthy and the Headmistress Ms. Anasuya were the guiding light behind the spectacular show. The student travel guide rolled the dice on the Moksha Patam and guided the guests to Maurya dynasty where the enactment of the great Ashoka and Chanakya were portrayed. The next in row was the valiant Chola dynasty display which showcased the beauty of the Tanjore Big Temple and the Sangam Literature. The succeeding scene of the fair was the display of Satvahanas reign which showcased the Rahu Ketu theory, the ayurvedic aushadhalayas and the great water reservoir theory of the times. The subsequent display was of the Kakatiya dynasty portraying the famous Rudrama Devi episode after which was portrayed the Mighty Mughal dynasty where the introduction of Paper Currency was depicted along with the tale behind the beauty of the world-famous Taj Mahal.
The program then trailed towards the magnificent display of the iconic Freedom at Midnightpresentation and the powerful speech by Jawaharlal Nehru. The program concluded by the students rendering a recital emphasising on the values the people of India behold and practice which instils peace and harmony amongst them. The academic fair enlightened the students of the various achievements attained in the past thereby making them feel proud of their past and inspiring them to create an excellent future.
