Teacher’s day in Delhi School Excellence, Banjara Hills was hosted by the student council on the 4th of September. The celebration was a way of showing the teachers how much the students loved them and cared for them. The show kicked off, with a song dedicated to the teachers followed by an interesting quest for treasure. Then there was an energetic dance performance by the students of grade VII and VIII.
A heartfelt speech was given by Mariam of grade X which was highly appreciated by the entire gathering, especially by the teachers. It was then followed by a humorous but thoughtful skit presented by the students of grade X, portraying the hardships faced by the teachers. To show that the teachers not only possess mental strength but also physical strength a couple of games were organized by the students, such as tug of war and arm wrestling which was thoroughly enjoyed by the teachers and the audience alike. Abrar of Grade 10 rapped on the thought of how much the teachers mean to the students. This amazing and eventful celebration came to an end with a dance performance by the students of grade 9 and 10, for which the teachers also tapped their foot to the beat. A friendly throw ball match between students and teachers was the highlight of the celebration.
