Grade III – Reading aloud a story
The students of grade 3 experienced what it means, to listen to a story told through the voice of another. The stories of Mulla Nasruddin were read out to the students. Reading aloud activity helped in building motivation, curiosity and motivation among the students. Children understood the moral of the stories and this in turn helps them to cope during times of stress and anxiety. Children thoroughly enjoyed the read aloud session.
Grade 4 – Story telling
The students of grade 4 had story telling activity in the library. All the students actively participated in the activity and they all narrated different stories. Some of them were funny stories; a few of them were moral stories and a few others were stories from classic tales like ‘the little red riding hood’.
