Childhood Comes but Once…..
Children’s Day celebrations continued on 14th November, for the students of grades 5, 6 and 7. The students wore clothes of their choice, a break from being in uniform. The first offering of the day was a humorous bi-lingual skit based on the famous character Paramanandayya and his unusual students. The children were hugely amused by the antics of the students and the plight of the teacher in this classroom. This was followed by the members of the staff shaking a leg to a foot tapping number. They were met with a huge round of applause and cries of ‘Once more! Once more!’The principal and headmistress shared a few nuggets of information regarding Children’s Day and the responsibilities that follow in adulthood. The day concluded on a cheerful note and the children dispersed happily.
