Message from the Chairman

Progress lies not in enhancing what is, but in advancing toward what will be.

It is undoubtedly a great honour for the DSE family to be blessed with a unique opportunity to nurture and celebrate every student’s talent and achievements.

The entire purpose of education is not merely to impart bookish knowledge but also to inculcate humanitarian values in each student. Delhi School of Excellence has honed and fine-tuned a holistic learning system that is coveted and has set a benchmark across the city. We believe in comprehensive education for our children, encompassing – academics, co-curricular activities, and life skills.

DSE has witnessed unceasing progress due to our commitment towards educational excellence. Our mission continues to drive our growth and progress, thereby building a strong foundation and ensuring that our holistic development programmes provide students with an international learning experience, while preserving the core Indian values.

Message from the Vice Chairperson

Education is a human right with immense power to transform. On its foundation rests the cornerstones of freedom, democracy and sustainable human development’                                                                                                                                                  — Kofi Annan

My heart fills with immense pleasure as I perceive the progress and development being seen at Delhi School of Excellence.

Completion of six years of the Institution is a good opportunity to ensure that the progress of all the three branches is seen more clearly and pursued further with zeal and efficiency.

Our students are our future and I assure that they will be groomed to bring about a culture of tolerance, understanding, justice and forgiveness.

Learning is a process of evolution in an ever- changing world. The initial years of a student witness various changes and are critical for a child’s development. We are aware that children develop rapidly during this time; physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. DSE tries to provide the best possible environment for healthy development of our students by providing a carefully planned and structured curriculum.

I must add that coordination and co-responsibilities of the school management, parents and students is felicitous to promote an environment, which is conducive for the growth and development of each child.

Here, I must thank the parents for always being an integral part of DSE.

I believe that it is not just enough to gain knowledge. Knowledge must result in the wisdom to ‘becoming more’- more assiduous. more progressive and more humane

Message from the Secretary

Progress is impossible without change

As I bask into the glory of the years that Delhi School of Excellence has been in existence, what comes to my mind is that, ‘Progress is impossible without change.’

It is very much obvious that we live today in a world that is so very different from the yesteryears. Change in today’s world is riding at an augmented pace and we need to pause and reflect upon the entire education system. I firmly believe that students must be taught how to think and not what to think. That reminds me of the great words of wisdom by W.B. YEATS, ‘Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire’. As we impart education to match the pace of ever- changing technology and globalization, we at DSE lead our children with the ethos of ethical principles.

Fortunately, DSE has committed and dedicated teachers, caring and cooperative parents who strive to create well-groomed students.

I wish the entire DSE family good luck in all its endeavours
